AN INTRO TO ME

Welcome to A Wandering Steeper!

Hey, friend! I’m Sofia, and if you’re anything like me, you love traveling the world, but you’ve also got a business (or a mountain of work) to keep up with.

Sound familiar? Yep, I’ve been there. I’ve spent 6 years running my business, visiting country after country, and learning how to juggle it all without losing my mind. Spoiler alert: it’s totally doable!

I know how hard it can be to keep your business or work running smoothly when you’re on the go. Trust me, I’ve had my share of “how the heck am I supposed to take this call at 3 a.m.?” moments.

But I’ve also found some awesome ways to make it work. And guess what? I’m here to share all my best tips with you—so you can travel more, stress less, and still crush it at work.

A couple stands in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome, smiling at the camera. The ornate details of the baroque architecture and statues behind them are captured beautifully, while the light blue water of the fountain creates a calm atmosphere. They are dressed warmly, suggesting a cooler day.

WHY I BLOG

The “Why” Behind The Blog

“You can’t have it all,” they said, “a career, a family, and the freedom to travel the world.” If only.

Well, I’m here to tell you that you can. I’m living proof.

I started A Wandering Steeper after realizing that the whole “work hard now, play later” thing wasn’t my vibe. I wanted to build a business I loved and explore the world while I did it.

So, I dove into this journey, figuring out how to manage clients, emails, and deadlines while sitting in a café in Tokyo—or sometimes, from the pool of a resort.

Helping others achieve this level of freedom matters to me because I was there, believing that I was a slave to my business when there was a whole world out there to explore. Plus an unhealthy addiction to scrolling on IG, wanderlusting.

All you need is a great itinerary and the deep knowing that your business won’t fall apart when you take time for yourself.

This image shows a smiling woman sitting on a stone wall overlooking a beach on a sunny day. Behind her, there are people relaxing on the sandy beach with a scenic hillside and water in the background. The woman is wearing sunglasses, a black sleeveless dress, and a crossbody bag, with a light jacket tied around her waist. The overall setting appears peaceful and summery.
